Falling tree kills driver in Ghana

(Kumasi)

An unidentified Taxi driver has passed on after a tree fell on a car he was sitting in.

Duaglobalnews gathered that the tragic event occurred on Thursday evening during a downpour accompanied by strong wind in the Ashanti Regional capital, Kumasi, Ghana.

The online publication further learnt that the driver parked his car close to the tree, few metres away from the Asanteman Senior High School.

According to citinewsroom, the body of the deceased has been recovered by passers-by and conveyed to the mortuary.

The mangled vehicle belonging to the deceased has also been towed to the Suame Police station.

Police officers have commenced investigation into the unfortunate incident.
