Kogi speaker felicitates with Gov Bello @45

The Speaker, Kogi State House of Assembly, Prince Matthew Kolawole on behalf of his family, the 7th Assembly, management and staff of the Assembly has felicitated with Governor Yahaya Bello on his 45th birthday.

In a statement signed by the speaker’s by his Chief Press Secretary, Femi Olugbemi on Thursday in Lokoja, Kolawole described Bello as ‘an amiable, pragmatic, dynamic, young and energetic Governor.”

The Speaker also described the governor as “a man of immense competence, whose approach to governance has shaped the political atmosphere of the state in addition to being “truly a man of destiny, having attained these great feats at this age in life.”

The head of the legislative arm of government noted that Governor Bello’s disposition to the wellbeing of the Kogites, as seen in the management of Covid-19 pandemic in the state, showed clearly that the present administration in the state meant well for the State.

According to him, the people of the State will remain grateful for Bello’s purposeful leadership.

Speaker Kolawole noted that despite the shock of the demise of the Governor’s Personal Assistant, “it is also worthwhile to celebrate the faithfulness of God in the life of an outstanding personality who has contributed in no small measure to the overall development of the Legislative Arm and the entire State.”

The speaker, therefore, wished the governor “many more years, many good things of life, more wisdom, knowledge, understanding in good health and prosperity.”

Duaglobalnews gathered that Bello was born on June 18, 1975 in Okene Local Government Area of the State, and he is the youngest of six children of his parents.

Bello was born to the family of the Late Alhaji Bello Ipemida Ochi and late Hajiya Hawawu Oziohu.

In 1984, he attended the LGEA primary school, Agasa after which he proceeded to Agassa Community Secondary school, Anyava, Agassa-Okene in 1989 and finished his secondary education at Government Secondary School, Suleja-Niger State in 1994.

He then proceeded to the Ahmadu Bello University, ABU, Zaria where he studied Accounting and obtained B.Sc and Business Administration (MBA).

The governor, who is also a Chartered Fellow of the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN), is happily married with children.
