AEDC on top of situation to end power outage in kogi-Manager

Lokoja

The power outage being experienced in and around Lokoja, kogi state has been attributed to the faulty 60MVA 132/33kV power transformer Secondary CCB which developed problem at Ajaokuta Transmission Station on Saturday.

ENGR.ABDULMIN ABDUL BASHAR. MANAGER TECHNICAL SERVICES, KOGI REGION AEDC Lokoja, made the disclosure in a statement in Lokoja on Monday.

The manager who said that the development had affected Ayingba and confluence feeders, however, assured that officials of the organisation were ‘trying all things possible to back-feed from the 30MVA.”

Bashar, who said that TCN maintenance crew were working on the faulty, expressed the hope to restore normalcy as soon as possible.

He regret the inconveniences caused to customers and residents of the affected areas by the black out.
