The General Manager, Abuja Electricity Distribution Company, Engr. Mohammed Mutallib, has called on electricity consumers in kogi state to pay their bills, regularly,to enable they enjoy uninterrupted power supply.

He made the call in Lokoja while speaking with the media, on the secret behind the level of improvement and uninterrupted steady power supply to consumers in the state during the just concluded Eid-el-Fitri.

According to general manager, AEDC can sustain the current uninterrupted power supply to residents of Lokoja and its environs as they enjoyed during the festive season but that there must commensurate payment made by consumers.

He stressed that steady power supply was tied to the ability of the electricity consumers to pay the bill of the energy supply given to AEDC by the Transmission company.

Commenting on improved power supply during last festive mood, Mohammed said the organisation deployed more men on the ground to ensure that Muslims and Christians and other residents enjoy steady power supply.

The feat,he said, was aided by the fact that Eid-el-fitr and Sunday worship coincided.

Duaglobalnews recalls that AEDC received commendations from the various strata of the society in the state for improved power supply during the just concluded Ramadan fast.
