Some Muslims observe Eid prayer in lokoja

For many years in living memory,scanty population of Muslim faithful observed the two Rakat prayer at Gadumo, Lokoja, kogi state to mark Eide-el-fitr signalling the end of 30-day Ramadan fast on Sunday.

Duaglobalnews reports that this year’s Eid prayer is highly restricted due to Coronavirus ravaging the world, including Nigeria.

However, Kogi has not recorded any case of the pandemic Coronavirus as at the time of this report.

The cleric,who preached at the prayer ground, Ustaz Musa Bello, called on Muslims to imbibe the spirit and sustain the lesson they learnt from Ramadan fast.

He also called on the Muslims to show love to otters and continue to pray to almighty Allah to safe Nigeria and the world at large from Coronavirus spreading the world.
