FMC, Keffi trains 2,000 staff on attitudinal change–MD

In its efforts to ensure quality health to the residents of Nasarawa state, particularly its immediate community, Keffi, the Federal Medical Centre( FMC), Keffi says it has trained 2,000 members of staff of the centre on attitudinal change for effective and quality service delivery.

The Medical Director of the Centre,Dr Yahaha Baba- Adamu, led this out of the bag at the opening ceremony for 2020 first ministerial SERVICOM/ Nodal and Desk officers networking retreat in Keffi.

He said that the importance of SERVICOM ( Service Compact with All Nigerians) could not be stressed to the development of the society, therefore, Nigerians must ensure the rights were do at all the times for the development of the country.
” We trained 2,000 members of staff of the centre on attitudinal change, carried out by the Foundation for Correction of moral Decadence because strongly that SERVICOM is the engine room for service delivery programme,”he said.

He noted that SERVICOM was borne out of a commitment to transform the system, through a customer-centered service delivery system, aimed at satisfying the customers expectations.

The medical director louder the organisers for the programme which he hoped would ensure effective healthcare service delivery among health workers and other Nigerians across the country.

The boss of the centre assured the organisers that their efforts at promoting effective and efficient services at the centre would not go unnoticed, adding the staff would translate their experience gathered at the occasion into higher productivity.

Baba- Adamu commended the staff of the centre for being up and doing in ensuring effective service delivery while urging them to continue in that direction, assuring them that their welfare at the top agenda of the centre.

In her address,the the National Coordinator/ CEO SERVICOM, Mrs Nnenna Akajemeli, said that the event was to equip the staff of the centre with attitudinal change skills for effective service delivery among other advantages.

She added that the of the occasion was informed by the compact’s core provision which centred on dedication and providing basic services to which citizens are entitled, “timely, fairly, honestly, effectively and transparently.”

She commended Baba- Adamu for supporting the SERVICOM and other departments in the interest of patients and Nigerians in general.

Highpoint at the occasion was award of SERVICOM Champion given to Baba- Adamu for his leadership qualities.
