The leadership and residents of Zone 2, Orita-Iloko Community in Ilesa, Osun State, have expressed deep appreciation to Senator Francis Adenigba Fadahunsi, popularly known as FADA, for donating an electricity transformer to the community.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, a copy available to The Reporters,the community described the intervention as timely and impactful, noting that it has brought lasting relief to residents who had endured prolonged power supply challenges.
According to the community, the transformer donation directly addresses persistent electricity problems in the area, thereby restoring stable power supply and opening new opportunities for socio-economic growth within the community.
The leadership expressed optimism that improved electricity will boost small-scale businesses, enhance commercial activities, and significantly improve the quality of life for residents of Zone 2, Orita-Iloko Community.
The community further commended Senator Fadahunsi, who represents Osun East Senatorial District, for his unwavering commitment to grassroots development and his consistent responsiveness to the needs of his constituents.
Describing the gesture as a clear demonstration of people-oriented leadership, the community noted that the senator’s action reflects genuine concern for sustainable community development and inclusive governance.
On behalf of the entire community, the residents offered prayers for Senator Fadahunsi, asking God to grant him wisdom, strength, and good health as he continues to serve Osun East Senatorial District and the nation.
The statement was jointly signed by Pastor Moses Omotade, Chairman of Zone 2 Orita-Iloko Community, and Pastor Olatoye Olagoke, the community’s Public Relations Officer, reaffirming the community’s gratitude for what they described as a meaningful intervention that has positively transformed their lives.
