Forum Celebrates Member’s Elevation to New Leadership Role

Members of the Kogi Central Think Tank Forum (KCTTF) on Tuesday paid a congratulatory visit to the Kogi State Ministry of Health, Lokoja, to felicitate with one of their own, Mr. Momo Omuya Opia, who was recently elevated to the position of Permanent Secretary in the ministry.

Speaking during the visit, Chairman of the Forum, Dr. Haroun Opotu Yussuff, expressed the delight of KCTTF over Opia’s appointment, describing him as a diligent and down-to-earth Public Relations Officer.

He praised the new Permanent Secretary for his exceptional performance in all assignments given to him, noting that he had been an excellent content creator and a worthy ambassador of the Forum.

“He is a goal-getter, amiable, and a reliable technocrat,” Yussuff said, offering prayers for more elevations for Opia in the course of his public and private service to humanity.

In his response, Mr. Opia thanked the Forum members for their visit, describing it as a gesture that underscores their commitment to the growth and stability of Kogi State.

He said the visit was both an honour and a source of inspiration, noting that the Forum,comprising respected senior citizens, retired Permanent Secretaries, seasoned Directors and political leaders,has remained an important contributor to governance, public policy, and community development in the state.

Opia also commended the Forum for its consistent efforts in promoting peace, offering advisory support and fostering constructive dialogue across Kogi Central.

He said the Forum’s interventions in governance and civic engagement have long served as a stabilizing force, providing guidance for emerging leaders and upholding the values of integrity and service in public administration.

Opia expressed gratitude for the mentorship he has received from members of the Forum, reaffirmed his commitment to transparency and accountability in the Ministry of Health, and appreciated Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for the confidence reposed in him.

He further acknowledged the support of the Coordinating Commissioner for Health, Dr. Adams Adeiza Abdulazeez, describing their working relationship as one rooted in goodwill and mutual respect.

Opia,who assured members of the Forum that their visit had strengthened his resolve to give his best in service to Kogi State, prayed for God’s guidance and continued good health for all members and urged to remain pillars of wisdom in the state.
