KOGI POLYTECHNIC MOURNS BARRISTER WILLIAM AMEH, DIRECTOR, LEGAL SERVICES

The Rector of Kogi State Polytechnic, Professor Salisu Ogbo Usman has, on behalf of the Academic Board, Management, staff, Alumni and students of the institution, deeply commiserated with the family of Barrister William Ameh, Director, Legal Services, who died on Saturday 22nd March, 2025.

The Rector extends the deepest condolences of the institution to the immediate family, kinsmen, associates of the deceased and the good people of Imane, Olamaboro Local Government over the shocking and irreparable loss.

He stressed that the entire Polytechnic community is in deep shock and sorrow over the demise of such a diligent, selfless and intelligent scholar and legal luminary who gave his all to the service of the Polytechnic and humanity.

The Rector added that, as Head and Director, Legal Services, Member of Management and Academic Board, Barrister Ameh demonstrated exceptional leadership, resourcefulness and professionalism which assisted in the transformation of the institution.

“While his demise is hard to take, we remain consoled by the impressive records of his service to the institution, particularly to the present administration” the Rector added.

He prayed God in his infinite mercy to grant the family, friends and well wishers of the deceased and the Polytechnic community the strength to bear the loss.

He further prayed God to forgive his shortcomings and grant him eternal rest.
