An Ogun-based company, Learnsmart, provided entrepreneurial training to 150 youths on Friday in an effort to tackle the rising unemployment rate.

The company’s founder, Mr. Sanni Adedokun, emphasized that the initiative was part of Learnsmart’s commitment to contributing to national development.

Adedokun, who also serves as the Director of Studies at Adedokun International Schools in Dalemo, Ogun, expressed confidence that the training would equip participants with the necessary skills to become self-reliant.

The one-day training, held at Learnsmart Hall along Idiroko Road, Ogun, was themed “More Than Just an Idea: Be Inspired by Powerful Brand Stories.” Participants drawn from various parts of the state, had the opportunity to learn from experts in the field.

In his remarks, Adedokun highlighted the importance of teamwork in organizational success, stating, “No organization, no matter how big or small, can truly succeed unless its team shares a common vision – a vision to create unique value, deliver it efficiently, and capture that value. Human capital development is one of our biggest priorities.”

He also noted that Learnsmart focuses on providing training, organizing job fairs, and partnering with reputable companies in search of talent.

He encouraged the youths to remain determined and meaningful in their pursuits, urging them not to underestimate small beginnings but instead be passionate about their work.

“Don’t give up on your dreams or visions due to challenges,” he added.

One of the event’s facilitators, Mr. Tokunbo Arannilewa, the CEO of Eonsfleet Inc., stressed the importance of knowledge and the right mindset for entrepreneurial success.

He also stressed the need for discipline, determination, and hard work as key drivers of success.

Arannilewa urged participants and business owners to adopt a never-give-up attitude in order to thrive in their ventures.
