The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has approved four airlines as official carriers for the 2025 Hajj airlift.

According to a statement by NAHCON’s Assistant Director of Information and Publication, Fatima Sanda Usara, the selected airlines are Air Peace Limited, Fly-Nas, Max Air, and UMZA Aviation Services Limited.

Usara added that these carriers were chosen from 11 companies that submitted applications for the airlift of Nigerian Muslim pilgrims.

She explained that screening and shortlisting processes were carried out by a 32-member committee, which was inaugurated by the NAHCON chairman on November 26, 2024.

She further revealed that three excess cargo carriers—Aglow Aviation Support Services Limited, Cargozeal Technology Limited, and Qualla Investment Limited—were selected for the Hajj operations.

The assistant director also disclosed that Prof. Abdullahi Sale Usman, the chairman of NAHCON, has signed the 2025 Hajj Memorandum of Understanding with the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah on behalf of Nigeria.
