Photospeak: 5-day capacity building workshop by Nigerian Red Cross ends in Lokoja.

Participants at the 5-day capacity workshop, organized by the Nigerian Red Cross for critical stakehokders in disaster response such as ECOWAS Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs came to an end on Friday in Lokoja Kogi State, north central Nigeria.

The exercise drew 60 participants from six states of the federation with resources delivering papers on various aspects of response to disasters.

Some of the participants who spoke with journalists at the occasion, described the workshop as very enriching, adding that it has equipped them , adequate,on how to respond to and manage disaster.

They thanked the organizers for organizing the workshop,assuring that they would bring the new knowledge and experience garnered during the occasion to manage disaster in their various states.

Communique is being expected from the workshop.
