From Kwara to Europe: Unicorns Academy Talent, Taiye Abdulateef, Joins Olympiacos.

Nigerian prodigy Taiye Abdulateef(18), has signed a four-year contract with Greek champions Olympiacos, transferring from Unicorns Football Academy in Ilorin.

Victor Awoniyi, CEO of the academy, announced the transfer on Thursday, in Ilorin,revealing that Abdulateef would be part of the Under-19 squad of the reigning European Conference League champions.

Awoniyi praised the young forward, known for his pace, skill, and goal-scoring prowess, for making a strong start in Greece.

Our correspondent gathered that in his debut match for Olympiacos U19, Abdulateef, scored a goal and provided two assists in a commanding victory with the impressive performance sparking enthusiasm among fans and coaches.

Awoniyi emphasized that Abdulateef’s move to Olympiacos represents a crucial step in his development, offering him elite training and competition that would aid in his progression towards a successful professional career.
