The election was done peacefully, based on consensus.
Our correspondent reports that the association, established about a year ago, comprises of Ebira extractions living within the radius of 200 unit and 500 unit and adjourning areas in Lokoja.
In his acceptance speech,the chairman of the association,Hon.Musa Akaba thanked members for entrusting the leadership of the association on the new exco and promised that the new leadership would not betray the confidence reposed on its members to deliver the desired quality leadership.
He, however ,solicited the corporation and unity of members to enable him and his team success in servicing the association to the best of their ability.
The Reporters reports that Ebira Avaibe Association is a non political and religious association,but aimed at the advancing the cause of social economic welfare of members and discuss issues that promote unity and progress of Ebiraland and kogi state in general.
Members prayed for the success of the Ododo administration,its officials, peace and development of kogi state as part of highlight of their weekly meeting.
