Dr. Mike Fatukasi, Principal of Adedokun International Schools in Dalemo, has called on youths to pursue excellence, creativity, and dedication to contribute to building a prosperous nation.

Fatukasi delivered this message during the 2023/2024 end-of-session party and prize-giving day at the school on Wednesday in Ota, Ogun State.

He emphasized the celebration of students’ achievements and hard work, highlighting their role in shaping a hopeful and exciting future.

The educationist encouraged young learners to collaborate in fostering a community of compassionate, creative, and critical thinkers.

“We urge our students to continue striving for excellence and to embrace the opportunities and challenges ahead.

“Remember, learning is a lifelong journey, and the skills and values acquired here will be invaluable in the future,”he said.

Reflecting on the school’s recent accomplishments, Fatukasi proudly announced its ranking among Nigeria’s top 25 secondary schools this year, with expectations of continued improvement.

He noted outstanding achievements in academics, sports, and extracurricular activities, alongside notable growth in students’ character and leadership.

Commenting individual successes, Fatukasi shared that Atigha Faith, an outgoing SS3 student, received a scholarship up to PhD level for her outstanding performance as first runner-up in the National Competition organized by the Federal Ministry of Innovation, Science, and Technology this year.

Other accolades included awards for Best Essayist at the 2024 Metro Eyes Essay Competition, and top positions in competitions organized by the Our Generation Foundation and Mathematics Association of Nigeria.

Fatukasi also praised five students who recently qualified for the finals of the Wole Soyinka Annual Essay Competition in Abeokuta, underscoring the school’s commitment to academic excellence and holistic development.

He expressed gratitude to the Chairman and Proprietor of the school for their swift response to campus needs aimed at enhancing educational standards.

Fatukasi further commended teachers, staff, parents, and guardians for their dedication and support, essential in creating a conducive learning environment.
