The rector described the appellate court’s verdict for rightfully upholding the judgement of the Election Tribunal as victory for the nation’s democracy and a reaffirmation of the responsibility of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to act as an unbiased umpire.

He added that the Polytechnic community was grateful to God Almighty for this significant occasion, and delighted that the unnecessary litigation had not stopped His Excellency’s dedication to delivering the dividends of democracy to the people of Kogi State.
