Chief Ambrose Olu Akpata, The Olu- Oba of Udu- Ako Clan of Magongo in Ogori/ Magongo Local Government of kogi state, has showered praises on Governor Yahaya Bello for elevating his stool to third class status.
The Reporters recalls that the state government,last week, graded and upgraded over 350 traditional stools, to boost the importance of traditional institution in the state.
The royal father,in a statement he signed in Magongo and copied The Reporters on Wednesday in Lokoja, said:”My appreciation goes to the Almighty God for this privilege to serve humanity.It is a privilege, I wouldn’t take for granted.
“His Excellency, Alhaji Yayahya Adoza Bello, the Executive Governor of Kogi State, I heartily appreciate you for this great elevation.
“I also wish to express my gratitude to the Ogori/ Magongo traditional council for the privilege to serve in this capacity.
“To my wife, children, and my extended family, thank you for your all round support over the years.
“To the good people of Ogori/Magongo, your unwavering love and support is greatly and well appreciated and by the grace of God, together we will make Ogori/Magongo Community stand out for good.God bless Ogori/Magongo Community!
The traditional ruler said the elevation had increased his efforts and zeal in ensuring the maintenance of peace and enhancing unity and love among his subjects.
“I will encourage my people in the area of education and physical development, in all areas of life for my community,” he promised.
