ABU 16th AGA/Home Coming:Kogi set for distinct participation.

Kogi state branch of the Ahmadu Bello University Alumni Association is set to attend the 16th Annual General Assembly,AGA/Home coming of members,nationwide,between September 28 and 30 in Zaria, kaduna state.

A member has facilitated a bus to convey members to Zaria and back, free of charge, paid for the fuelling of the bus in addition to donating N100,000 towards the success of the branch’s presence at the event which promises to be historic.
Another member has produced symbolic mufflers for the 10 delegates from the branch,to be decorated during the AGA.
He said that his gesture was geared towards letting “Kogi Delegates be distinguished and distinct as always.”
The Reporters’ finding also revealed that a member of the branch, Mal. Danjuma Mahmud,the current National Publicity Secretary of ABU Alumni Association, has signified intention to vie for the Secretary General of the Association during the three-day event.
Some members of the branch billed for the journey, in separate interview with The Reporters, said they could not wait to be in Zaria.
They added that it would be a great opportunity for them to meet some course mates they have not seen for 10 to 20 years after graduation as well as see the level of physical infrastructure of ABU, which clocked 60 years in 2023.
