Kogi governor approves payment of outstanding salaries of predecessor’s appointees.

Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State has approved the payment of outstanding salaries of former political appointees that served in the administration of his predecessor, Capt.Idris Ichalla Wada between 2012 and 2016.
Two Representatives of the Forum of Political Appointees in the state,Hon. Sadiq Abubakar Ainoko and Hon. Barr. Kayode Olowomoran,disclosed this in Lokoja during the installation of a giant billboard to appreciate the good work of Governor Yahaya Bello in the last Seven years in office.
They reassured Governor Yahaya Bello of their continuous support for his government, ahead of the November 11th Governorship Election in the state.
The duo said:”We want to also take this opportunity to thank the Governor, once again,for his kind decision to approve the payment of our outstanding salaries.
“To be candid, we cannot thank the Governor enough for his magnanimity to approve the payment of our outstanding salaries which will commence very soon.
“Governor Yahaya Bello will go down in history as the architect of modern Kogi State after his tenure of office next year.
“We pledge to produce and install more giant billboards across the state in support of his administration in due course.”
