Alleged kidnap leader in kwara faints in Court

An alleged kidnap kingpin, Hardo Usman Adamu, facing trial over criminal conspiracy and kidnapping fainted on Monday when he appeared before a Kwara state High court in Ilorin continuation of his trial.

The defense counsel, Barr. Adebayo Adelodun SAN, relying on the ground of ill health of the accused, pleaded for his bail to enable him receive medical attention at the hospital.

Our Correspondent reports that barely some minutes after the eyewitness entered the courtroom, the accused fainted.

The trial judge, who did not decline the request, however, directed that the accused be taken to the General Hospital, Ilorin for medical attention and adjourned the matter to January 9, 2022, for the continuation of the trial.
