The National President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN),Ejezie Emeka Rollas, has instructed all Actors to avoid going to the outskirt of cities to film, without provision of full security cover to ensure their safety”.

Monalisa Chinda.the Director of Communications, Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN),who disclosed this in a statement on Friday.
According to her, the directive is sequel to the abduction of two members of two members of Nigerian movie stars: Cynthia Okereke and Clemson Cornel, aka Agbogidi.
Chinda added that Okereke and Cornel were were Kidnapped at Ozalla town,Enugu state.
She said that the sad development made the families of the actors to raise alarm as to the whereabouts of their members.
According to her, the kidnap of the duo has increased fear amongst members of the AGN regarding the safety of actors filming across the country.
Chinda said: “The two members were suspected of having been kidnapped, which has increased fear amongst members about the safety of actors filming in the country.
“Because of this sad development, the National President of the Guild, Ejezie Emeka Rollas, has instructed all Actors to avoid going to the outskirt of cities to film, except full security cover is provided to ensure their safety.
“The AGN president,who also expressed shock at the development, called on security agencies to speed up investigation in a bid to rescue the actors, unhurt.”
