A popular mechanic cum politician in Ibadan, Oyo state, Mr Yusuff Akorede, has vowed to support the political ambition of Chief Ahmed Bola Tinubu becoming the President of Nigeria on the platform of the All Progressives Congress APC, come 2023.

He made the vow in a statement he made available to Journalists in Ibadan on Monday.

According to him, the personality of Sen.Tinubu and his political ambition which made him a crowd-pulling politician, endeared the Jagaban’ s polical philosophy to him and his group.

Akorede said that in view of genuine interest in Tinubu political agenda,he had mobilized men and women into an interest group in a bid to drum up support for him to ensure his electoral victory.

He added that he and his group believed in the political sagacity of Asiwaju in changing the economic fortune of Nigeria for the better and effectively curb its current insecurity to the barest minimum.

Akorede went into memory lane regarding the formation of his group and the circumstance that endeared him to loving Chief Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his political ambition.

He said: “I have been nursing the formation this group since 2012.

We started as “Association of grassroots women and men dwellers of Nigeria” before we developed into TYFN.

“Side by side in the building of this group, I noticed that I have passion for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s political drive, not just in his avowed determination in nation building but also building political personalities to drive his political ambition across board in the country.

It must be noted that when TINUBU was building people, others were building houses.

“I don’t know him in person, but was privileged to accompany him during his Nationwide Consultation visit to the Alaafin of Oyo,the Olubadan of Ibadan and the Oni of Ifẹ.

“We eventually visited Asiwaju’s office at Ìdòwú Taylor in Lagos after the tour that took us so many states of the federation.

In the course of our tour with Tinubu,my group was told to meet with Governor Babajide Sanwo Olu of Lagos State or Governor Abudullai Ganduje of Kano State, to properly register our presence and for proper recognition as one of the certified Support Groups of Bola Ahmed Tinubu (BAT).

“We also met with Chief Alebiosu Bushura at Maryland, who is one of the biggest APC Leaders in Lagos State.

“Thereafter, moved from Oyo state to kano State with my group on October 2021,where we met Asiwaju with Governor Ganduje and we were warmly received.

” Gov.Ganduje affirmed his support for the group, saying that he would do everything possible to that Asiwaju’s Presidential Ambition becomes a reality.

“He urged our group to continue spreading the progressive message of Bola Ahmed Tinubu and mobilizing Support across for him the length and breath of the nation.

He also promise to support us with resources in order to achieve our aim and objectives.

“Gov. Ganduje, who had some groups and persons he wanted to use as Kano State Coordinator for the sake of Tinubu’s political drive later bintegrated our group with that of Kano State.

“We remained in kano with Governor Ganduje for the official lunch of the joint group under his leadership and the south west region of the country.

“After the launch, we returned to Ibadan to continue our support for Chief Tinubu vis a vis his political ambition which we believe will rescue Nigeria from its various social, economic and political problems, if he wins the electíon in 2023 general elections.

Akorede, who expressed worry that his group is yet to be launched in South West, reminded Governor Ganduje of his promise to assist the group to have strong footing to effectively support Chief Tinubu realize his desired electoral victory next year.
