Alhaji Isa Ozi-Salami, a notable politician from Kogi State and member,HYPPADEC,who was Kidnapped on May 26,2022 at Ogaminana in Adavi Local Governnent Area of kogi state, has been released, after 15 days in the Kidnappers’den.
The Reporters gathered from family sources on Thursday that the 73-year-old elder statesman was released Wednesday evening by his abductors and has been reunited with his family in Ogaminana.
Though the Kidnappers demanded for the sum of N120 million as ransom for them to release him,it was, however, not certain if any ransom was eventually paid for his release.
The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) for the Police Command in the state,SP William Ovye Aya, confirmed the story in an interview with some Journalists in Lokoja on Thursday.
