An Abuja-based NGO, Credible Alliance for Better Nigeria,(CABN), a Political Advocacy Support Group, has expressed support for Prof. Yemi Osinbajo & Prof. Babagana Zulum Joint Ticket as President and Vice President for 2023 general elections.
Dr. Ahmed Badanga National Coordinat Credible Alliance for Better Nigeria (CABN), stated this in a statement he signed and sent a copy to The Reporters in Abuja on Monday.
He said:” Prof. Osinbajo/Prof. Zulum 2023 (Prof’~Prof ) is the way to go, it is not about APC, PDP or any party for that matter, it is about Nigeria, survival of our dear country.
“It obvious that our country is not in good health, if we dear make the wrong choice added to this state of our nation over loaded problems, and we did not get it right this time around, am not a prophet of doom, the survival of our nationhood will be seriously questioned.So what we need urgently is how we can redefine our destiny and salvage it from total collapse.
“We have many qualified Nigerians out there that can administer Nigeria to the promise land,no doubt, but as it stands today among the line-up of potential leaders, the combination of Osinbajo/ Zulum 2023 temain the best option that can be given the benefit of doubt, to improve on the present state of affairs of this nation.”
Badanga described Osinbajo as not only an orator, but an intellectual scholar with requisite experience and understanding of the system, coupled with sound prowess of knowledge, digital acquirement, mental capacity, religious background that surely marked him out among several others, to mention but a few.
According to him, the combination of Prof. Babagana Zulum, a performer, achiever and leader per excellence, Nigeria is surely on the road to greatness, a road to redefine the nation’s future, “a road to create a better nation of our pride.”
“Nigeria is no doubt in a very precarious, delicate situation, an unusual situation requires unusual solutions, so no sentiment attached, we just need to get it right.
Badanga added that the idea of individual political interest in favour of powers that be, that often conflict and override the majority interest, needed to be discarded in 2023 and root for the best that would straighten the nation’s journey to greatness.
This idea, according to him, is his opinion and entire members of Credible Alliance for Better Nigeria support group for Osinbajo/Zulum 2023.
“We stand by this, in respective of where the pendulum swings eventually, the most important point is that, we have aired our views, and fulfilled our conscience as citizen of this great country.
“So far, our movement Credible Alliance for Better Nigeria (CABN) support group for Osinbajo/ Zulum 2023 hasmembership, State/ Zonal Coordinators in over 25 States and Disapora.
“We have distributed/pasted “Osinbajo/Zulum 2023 “Posters” under the auspices of Credible Alliance for Better Nigeria to about 25 States including APC National and State Secretariats nationwide as part of early stage of creating awareness and advocacy for the candidacy of Osinbajo/ Zulum 2023 Joint Ticket.
CABN “Website” will be up any moment from now and we will be uploading all our activities in FCT and State Chapters across Nigeria for public access and mobilization of more fellowship.
“We have major strong political women campaign leaders, Youths, Students Union leaders and other APC political stalwart in CABN movement.
“We are also compiling the Report of our activities with detailed achievements, photos and engagement for onwards public presentation and Media Conference.
It is our strong belief that the combination of both Prof. Osinbajo and Prof Zulum 2023 is not only the “Perfect Match but the Best Combo” for APC to retain power in 2023, to overcome the numerous challenges that is currently facing this nation and redefine Nigeria destiny for greatness.
“Opinion poll hasalso shown that large population of followership in Nigeria are convinced that one way to get it right in 2023 is by making the right choice to get Nigeria working for the present and future generation,”he added.
The coordinator urged the media to join hands with CABN, to drum support for this joint ticket, reminding Journalists that ” the fall and rise of Nigeria is our collective responsibility.”
