Kogi State Chapter of Jama’atu Nasril Islam has felicitated with Christians in the state on the occasion of Christmas.
The Apex Islamic body in the state, in a statement jointly signed by the state Chairman, Ambassador Usman Bello and Secretary, Alhaji Isa Adeboye, called on Christians to use the occasion to pray fervently for a Nigeria devoid of bitterness, rancour and acrimony stressing the need for peace and peaceful coexistence among the citizens
JNI urged the people of Kogi State to continue to love one another irrespective of tribe or religious inclinations.
It commended Governor Yahaya Bello for his continued support to religious organizations in the state which it noted had engendered peace and forged cordiality among them stressing the need for its sustenance.

congratulated all Christians in the state, especially the Deputy Governor, Chief Edward David Onoja, other Christian members of the state cabinet, and prayed for long life to witness more of the milestone.
