Edo 2020:Ogunfowora wins medal for Kogi

As actions continue in various sporting events at the ongoing National Sports Festival,“Edo 2020”, Kogi State weightlifter,Anuoluwapo Ogunfowora, has won bronze medal in female Snatch category.

Ogunfowora,who put up a superb display in the 45 kg female category in Snatch and won the for the State is waiting to compete for both Clean and Jack category.

Kogi State Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Hon. Idris Musa, has commended Ogunfowora for the feat and urged her to make the State proud in other categories.‬

Meanwhile, the State contingent are hopeful of medals in other sports – Boxing and Chess, as the State representatives are already making head ways in the games.
