As the Kogi State Independent Electoral Commission (KOSIEC),makes necessary efforts to conduct local government election on December 12,2020, the state chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has cautioned the commission “to toe the path of honour and conduct free and fair election.”

Hon.Dickson Achadu, Director Research and Documentation of the party, who gave the word of caution in a statement in Lokoja on Wednesday, however, lauded KOSIEC so far working toward conducting a transparent poll.

Achadu expressed hope that the action of the Commission toward conducting credible polls would be maintained to the end.

He commended members of the party for going about their campaign peacefully, but called on them to “be vigilant and ensure that it is only accredited voters that vote.”
