The Federal High Court (FHC) will commence its 2025/2026 Legal Year and Annual Judges’ Conference on December 15 at the court’s headquarters in Abuja. The four-day event, which marks the official opening of the new legal year, will run until December 18.
This is contained in a statement issued on Wednesday in Abuja by the FHC Director of Information, Dr. Catherine Christopher titled, “Notification of 2025/2026 Legal Year and Annual Conference.”
“In a circular signed by the Honourable Chief Judge of the Federal High Court of Nigeria, Hon. Justice John T. Tsoho, the New Legal Year and Annual Judges’ Conference will be held at the Court Headquarters in Abuja from Monday, the 15th of December to Thursday, the 18th of December, 2025,” the statement read.
Christopher noted that the annual conference provides a crucial platform for reflection, evaluation, and strategic planning to strengthen the administration of justice and improve judicial efficiency. She added that a detailed notice on the court’s vacation period will be released later.
“The Honourable Chief Judge extends his warm regards to all judges and wishes them a successful conference and a productive new legal year ahead,” she said.
