The Police Command in Kogi State has announced that its newly deployed Commissioner of Police, CP Naziru Bello Kankarofi, PhD,has assumed duty and will hold his maiden press briefing on Wednesday, October,29,2025 in Lokoja.
In a statement issued on Tuesday in Lokoja by its Police Public Relations Officer, SP William Aya, the Command informed journalists that the event will take place at its Headquarters by 9:30 a.m.

Our correspondent reports that CP.Kankarofi takes over the mantle of leadership of the command from CP. Miller Dantawaye who is now over seeing the FCT Police Command.
