It was a moment of nostalgia and heartfelt joy as classmates of Mr. Adeku Adava, who shared memorable school days with him 51 years ago in Form Five,at Baptist Grammar School,Isanlu isin, came together to celebrate his birthday, rejoicing in God’s faithfulness over his life.

In a warm message, the classmates described Mr. Adava as a man of integrity, faith, and enduring friendship. “We celebrate Mr. Adeku Adava and welcome him to another year of God’s faithfulness over his life. We pray that he experiences the newness of God in every area of his life,” the message read.

They further prayed that the new year would usher in abundant blessings, divine favour, mercy, joy, and peace for him, declaring it “a new season of greatness.”

The classmates, who fondly remember Mr. Adava’s leadership as Chapel Prefect, also appreciated his consistent spiritual guidance and daily “morning showers of blessings” that continue to inspire them.

With shouts of “Hip! Hip!! Hip!!! Hurray!” the old friends marked the occasion with deep gratitude to God for sustaining their bond through the years.

The celebratory message ended on a traditional note of goodwill:
“Igba odun, odun kan ni o!”

“May you celebrate many more fulfilling years in good health and happiness,”they prayed.
