On Saturday, October 18,2027, thousands of members of All Progressive Congress,APC, from the 21 local government areas of the state troped to Muhammadu Civic Centre, Lokoja to endorse President Ahmed Bola Tinubu and Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for 2027 election to enable them serve their second term in office.

Speaking at the occasion, the immediate past governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello, described President Tinubu as a humanist and a courageous man who means well in his efforts to move Nigeria to the next level of concrete social, economic and political development in all ramifications.
Bello also commended Governor Ododo for embarking on people -oriented policies and programmes and for the well-being of Kogites and urged the people to vote for the president and Ododo,in the next election,assuring them that “under APC,we shall get to the promise land.”
Also speaking at the occasion,Governor Ododo said his administration has embarked on programmes that add value to the life of the people of the state.
He said the state stands for the continuity of President Tinubu’s administration come 2027, adding that the people of the state believe that the president will lead Nigeria to the promise through his leadership in action.
The governor called on the people of the state to continue unite and remain supportive of his administration for the attainment of greater heights in governance of the state.
