

,,,,, Commends IGP on Proposed Police School in Kogi central.

Members of the Okengwe Development Association (ODA), Lokoja branch, have called for peace and harmony in the subsequent selection process of the Odeyani and Onobobayin to ensure stability in their community.
They made the appeal on Thursday in Lokoja during the association’s monthly meeting in Lokoja.
The meeting, chaired by Dr. Haroun Opotu Yussuff, also expressed delight over the approval granted by the Nigeria Police Force for the establishment of a police school in Kogi Central Senatorial District.
The association commended the Inspector General of Police, Dr. Kayode Egbetokun, for the initiative, noting that members of ODA have been mobilized to support the project and ensure its realization.
It was further resolved that the Lokoja branch would host the next central working committee meeting of the association, with assurances that adequate arrangements are being put in place to guarantee its success.
