Engr. Joachim Daudu Sponsors 30 Magongo Students, Urges On Excellence

By Correspondent in Lokoja.

Magongo community in Ogori-Magongo Local Government Area of Kogi State came alive recently as Engr. Joachim Daudu, a philanthropist and proud son of the soil, sponsored the education of 30 students drawn from Junior and Senior Secondary Schools in the town.

Our correspondent reports that the sponsorship, aimed at assisting less-privileged families and boosting the academic performance of beneficiaries, was described to the residents of the community as the beginning of a life-changing journey for the students.

Engr. Daudu, who was represented by Mr. David Salihu Ojule, popularly known as “Fire Fire,” encouraged the students to remain focused, work hard, and never give up on their dreams.

The sponsor called on the benefitting students to see the gesture as motivation to strive for excellence, noting that education remains the greatest investment in their future.

Speaking at the event, the National President of Magongo Development Association (MDA), Prince Jordan Alaba Akpata, expressed deep gratitude for Daudu’s kindness and generosity.

He said the contribution would have a profound impact on the lives of the students and stood as a testament to the donor’s compassion and commitment to uplifting the less privileged.

In his response, one of the beneficiaries, Master David Moses, pledged on behalf of his colleagues to remain committed to their studies and not disappoint their benefactor.

The initiative, according to organizers, is designed not only to provide immediate financial relief for families but also to create lasting educational opportunities that will positively shape the future of the young people in Magongo.
