Kogi Poly Announces Resumption Date for 2025/2026 Academic Session

The management of Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja, is delighted to announce the official resumption of academic activities for the 2025/2026 Academic Session.

Following the approval of the Academic Calendar by the Academic Board at its emergency meeting on Thursday, 4th September, 2025, all new and returning students (except those on SIWES) are expected to resume on Monday, 15th September, 2025. Students currently on SIWES will resume on Monday, 8th December, 2025.

According to a statement signed by Uredo Omale, director, public relations and protocol for the polytechnic and copied The Reporters,registration kicks off on 15th September, 2025 and runs until 10th October, 2025.

She said that late registration, with a penalty fee of ₦5,000, will be allowed from 13th – 17th October, 2025.

As part of the calendar, orientation and matriculation for fresh students will take place between 27th and 29th October, 2025,a special moment to officially welcome the new set of Polytes into the Kogi Poly family.

The Rector, on behalf of the Management and Academic Board, warmly welcomes students back to campus and wishes them a safe journey and a successful academic year,she added.
