From Ogori.

The air was filled with love and laughter as the Crowther Memorial Anglican Church, Lokoja, joined in rejoicing with the family of Mr. and Mrs. Emmanuel Boro JP on the glorious occasion of their son’s wedding.

On August 29th and 30th, 2025, Ogori town in Ogori-Magongo Local Government Area of Kogi State became the stage for a beautiful love story as Engr. Raphael Osinimu Bola-Boro exchanged vows with his heartthrob, Miss Naomi Unini Ibrahim, at the Bible Faith Evangelical Mission, Ogori.

In a warm congratulatory message signed by the Vicar, Venerable J. C. Egbeja, the Cleric described marriage as a sacred covenant instituted by God Himself, referencing Genesis 2:23.

He reminded the couple and the family that “he who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favour from the Lord,” declaring the wedding a true testimony of God’s faithfulness in the lives of the Boro family.

Venerable Egbeja assured the family that the entire congregation stands with them in spirit and in prayer.

With fatherly blessings, he prayed:
“May the Lord bless this new home with love, peace, fruitfulness, and enduring joy. May Raphael and Naomi be like a fruitful vine and olive plants around the table (Psalm 128:3-4).

“May their marriage continually reflect the love of Christ and His Church (Ephesians 5:25-27). And may the Boro household experience many more joyful celebrations in the years ahead. Amen.”

The hearty wishes for a blissful married life, left the Boro family and the newlyweds wrapped in an atmosphere of love, prayers, and joyous expectations.

Our correspondent gathered that some members of Kogi Central Think Tank Forum were among the guests that graced the colourful wedding ceremony.
