The Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, has approved the redeployment of DCP Olumuyiwa Adejobi to Delta state, to serve as Deputy Commissioner of Police, Operations, Delta Command.

Adejobi had served as the Force Public Relations Officer (FPRO).
The redeployment, the IGP said, is a strategic move to strengthen security operations in one of the nation’s most sensitive commands.

As DCP Operations in Delta State, Adejobi will oversee security operations, tackle violent crimes, and foster stronger police-community relations in a state that remains pivotal to Nigeria’s internal security architecture.

“His redeployment further highlights the Nigeria Police Force’s commitment to merit-based advancement and the strategic deployment of its top officers where their expertise is most needed”, the IGP remarked.
