The Ebira Avaibe Association, Lokoja, has commiserated with the Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, over the passing of his father, Alhaji Momoh Sani Ahmed Ododo.
The condolence message was delivered on Tuesday in Lokoja, a day after the governor’s father passed away at the age of 83, according to a statement earlier issued by the state’s Commissioner for Information and Communications, Kingsley Fanwo.
In a statement signed by its chairman, Hon. Musa Akaba, the association described the late Alhaji Momoh Sani Ahmed Ododo as a disciplined and fulfilled father who raised his children on a foundation of sound moral values, making them enviable contributors to the development of Kogi State.
Akaba particularly noted that the late patriarch’s legacy lives on through his children, including Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, urging the governor to find consolation in the fact that his father lived a worthy and impactful life.
The association prayed Almighty Allah to grant the deceased eternal rest in Aljanah Firdaus and give his family, as well as the entire people of Kogi State, the strength to bear the loss.
