The Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, promoted several officers across the country in recognition of their hard work, professionalism, and unwavering commitment to the security of Nigeria.

At the Kogi State Police Command, one the newly promoted officers was being decorated with his new rank in a brief but colourful ceremony at the Police headquarters in Lokoja.

The Commissioner of Police, CP Miller Dantawaye(left) performed the decoration, assisted by one of his senior aides, as captured in the accompanying photograph.

This gesture, the IGP noted, is aimed at motivating personnel to continue giving their best in service to the nation.
