Medical Specialists under the aegis of Aster Hospitals Dubai, in partnership with Cedar Crest Hospitals and Super Wings Travel and Tours, have concluded plans to bring world-class medical specialists to Abuja for an improved healthcare.
The Group’s Director of Media and Publicity, Mr. Kolade Omoniyi, told newsmen in Abuja that Orthopedic issues like spine and joint injuries or deformity would be attended to for treatment.
“Other ailments include Knee or hip replacement needs; Bone Tumors or arthritis; Neurological disorders, brain tumors, epilepsy and stroke”.
Mr Omoniyi noted that this is an opportunity to consult with renowned medical experts like Dr. Vinay Kumar, a Specialist Neurosurgeon and
Dr. Khalid Mahmoud, a consultant Orthopedic Surgeon.
According to him, the event will take place on August 28th to 29th, 2025 at CedarCrest Hospital, Apo, Abuja.
“The gesture is also aimed at sharing knowledge with practitioners in the country and to seek greater ways of collaborating in situations where some medical services are not within reach locally,” Omoniyi remarked.
He added that a high level Continuous Medical Education (CME) Dinner Meet of the keys stakeholders within and outside Nigeria in the sector has also been arranged to brainstorm and proffer medical solutions to critical health challenges with Prof. Adebowale Adekoya, the Director Clinical Services, Lagos State University Teaching Hospital as the Chairperson.
