WAFCON: Tinubu Rewards Super Falcons & Crew With National Honours, Houses & $100,000.

President Bola Tinubu has rewarded the victorious Super Falcons with National Honours of Officer of the Order of Niger, 3 Bedroom flats and One hundred thousand dollars each to players while the crew got Fifty thousand dollars for winning the Women’s Africa Cup of Nation (WAFCON) 2025.

The President conferred the honours on them when he hosted the Falcons at the Presidential Villa on Monday evening.

Tinubu also awarded three bedroom apartments each and a cash award of $100,000 each to the 24 Super Falcons players and $50,000 each to the technical team.

Other donations of additional ₦360 million for the team from the Nigerian Governors forum.

Our Correspondent reports that Super Falcons’ Captain Rasheedat Ajibade and the Vice Captain Chiamaka Nnadozie presented the 10th Women’s Africa Cup of Nations golden trophy to President Tinubu and First Lady, Senator Remi Tinubu at the State Banquet Hall during the ceremony.
