The Kogi State High Court sitting in Lokoja has adjourned the divorce case between Super Eagles goalkeeper, Ojo Olorunleke, and his estranged wife, Tosin Ojo.
The case, which was scheduled for hearing on Thursday, July 24, 2025, was postponed until October 2025 by the presiding judge, Justice Ada.
The court will reconvene after the judiciary’s annual vacation to hear arguments on the divorce petition filed by Olorunleke.
Olorunleke. who hails from Kabba-Bunu Local Government Area of Kogi State, is seeking the dissolution of his marriage, citing irreconcilable differences and emotional detachment.
His wife, Tosin, who was present in Court 6 alongside her legal counsel, appeared in high spirits as she exited the courtroom smiling.
The couple’s marriage, which has lasted over eight years, was once celebrated by many as a model union.
Their current legal battle has sparked concern among football fans and admirers who had looked up to the family.
Sources disclosed that both Ojo and Tosin’s fathers, who also hail from Kabba-Bunu, are long-serving staff of the Kogi State Polytechnic and are said to have been close friends for decades.
