The Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Alumni Association, Kogi State Branch, has extended warm felicitations to former Governor of Kogi State and one of their own,His Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello, on the occasion of his 50th birthday.
In a statement signed by the Chairman of the association, Engr. Abdulsalam Mohammed Sagir, and made available to The Reporters on Saturday in Lokoja,
the alumni described the governor’s birthday as a remarkable achievement worth celebrating.
Engr. Sagir highlighted the notable contributions of the former governor, particularly in the areas of security, healthcare, education, infrastructural development, and the inclusion of women and youth in governance.
He further revealed that the association has nominated Alhaji Yahaya Bello to receive an award during its forthcoming Gala Night and Award Ceremony scheduled to hold in this year in Lokoja.
The chairman prayed for Almighty Allah’s continued blessings upon the former governor, asking for good health, long life, and greater prosperity, to enable Bello’s continued contribution to the development of Kogi State and Nigeria as a whole.
