Tnubu to Visit Crisis-Hit Benue on Wednesday, Calls for Peace,Unity

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has announced plans to visit Benue State, where nearly 200 lives were lost.

He made the announcement on Tuesday in Abuja when he inaugurated water projects in FCT.

Turning to national matters, the President mourned the recent killings in Benue State,
offered condolences to bereaved families and announced plans to visit the state on Wednesday.

“We are one family living in different rooms of the same house. Let us uphold peace,” he appealed.

Our correspondent recalls that for some times now,Benue state has been confronted by crisis, leading to loss of lives and property.
