The spotlight shone brightly on Abuja as 19-year-old Genevieve Chisimdi Uzoukwu, a 200-level student of Economics Education at Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, Igbariam, dazzled her way to the crown at the Miss Global Royalty Africa 2025 pageant.

The glitzy event, held during the 3-day Royal Ambassadors Gathering Week and organized by the Royal Ambassadors Family Enlightenment Foundation (RAFEF) in collaboration with the Miss Global Royalty Africa pageant, brought together the continent’s most stunning and talented young women — but it was Genevieve who stole the show.

Standing tall at 5.8ft, with brains, beauty, and charm, Genevieve wowed the judges not only with her striking looks and poise but also with her passion for dance, beauty, and self-development.

A proud native of Ezeawulu village in Nibo, Awka South LGA of Anambra State, the new queen already has fans buzzing across social media.

“This victory means everything to me. It’s a reward for my dedication, discipline, and the belief that dreams do come true,” Genevieve said, beaming with joy after her coronation.

But Genevieve isn’t just about the crown—she’s a rising star in the beauty and fashion scene, a trained beautician, and an energetic performer who hopes to use her new platform to inspire young women across Africa.

The competition also saw other brilliant contestants shine: Miss Lilian Ibrahim Takdam from Plateau State emerged as the 1st Runner-Up and was crowned Miss Global Royalty Africa Ambassador 2025, while Edo State’s Rachel Okoh clinched the 2nd Runner-Up spot, earning the title of Miss Global Royalty Africa Heritage 2025.

The grand finale wrapped up the Royal Ambassadors Gathering Week in unforgettable style, with music, dance, glamor, and plenty of standing ovations.

With her crown now in place and a future full of promise, all eyes are on Queen Genevieve as she begins her reign, and her journey into the heart of Africa’s beauty and entertainment world.
