The Assistant Inspector General of Police, Zone 7 Headquarters, Abuja, AIG Victor Olaiya, and the 33rd Commissioner of Police, Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Command, CP Ajao S. Adewale, have reaffirmed commitment to intelligence sharing and community engagement.
The decision was reached when the CP FCT Command, paid a courtesy visit to the AIG on Tuesday, 8th April, 2025.
The visit, according to the Spokesman for the Zonal Command, SP M.B Abdulkadir, was aimed at strengthening the FCT Command’s bond with the Zonal headquarters.
Highlights of the visit focused on collaboration, fostering synergy, and discussing strategies to enhance security and public safety within the territory and beyond.
During the meeting, both senior officers reaffirmed their commitment to effective policing, intelligence sharing, and community engagement.
The AIG commended the FCT Commissioner of Police for his proactive approach to security and encouraged continued cooperation for the peace and stability of the Capital Territory.
The AIG emphasized the need for the FCT Police Command to remain dedicated to working closely with all relevant stakeholders to ensure the safety and security of residents in the Federal Capital Territory.
