Saudi Arabia has announced that Sunday, March 30, 2025, will mark Eid Al-Fitr, signaling the end of Ramadan.

The declaration was made through the Kingdom’s official channel, Haramain Sharifain, following the sighting of the Shawwal crescent.

“The Crescent for the month of Shawwal 1446 was SEEN in Saudi Arabia today; subsequently, tomorrow is the beginning of the month of Shawwal 1446,” the statement read.

According to Saudi gazette, the decision for the announcement came after the crescent moon of Shawwal was sighted in several locations across the Kingdom, marking the end of Ramadan and the beginning of the Islamic month of Shawwal.

Eid Al-Fitr is a significant Islamic celebration marking the conclusion of the holy month of fasting.
