Ebira Avaibe Association Extends Felicitations to New Odeyani Anegbira of Lokoja

The Ebira Avaibe Association in Lokoja, Kogi State, has extended heartfelt congratulations to the newly appointed Odeyani Anegbira of Lokoja, His Royal Highness Abdulkarim Obeito.

During the association’s executive council meeting in Lokoja on Friday,the President, Hon. Musa Akaba, delivered the message of felicitations, expressing the members’ joy over the appointment.

He emphasized the association’s commitment to collaborating with the royal father in managing the affairs of the Ebira community in Lokoja.

Our correspondent recalls that the Kogi State government appointed Daudu Abdulkarim Obeito as the new Odeyani Anegbira of Lokoja, following the death of the former ruler, HRH Abdullahi Otonoku.

Otonoku passed away in Lokoja at the age of 125, at the close of 2024, after reigning for more than 14 years.

The Ebira Avaibe Association represents Ebira descendants living in the Lokoja-Ganaja area, spanning from 500 units to Old Poly Quarters.

Members of the Ebira Avaibe Association in Lokoja , kogi State,have felicitated with the newly appointed Odeyani Anegbira of Lokoja, HRH.Abdulkarim Obeito.

The President of the association,Hon.Musa Akaba gave the message of felicitation during its executive council meeting.

According to him, members are extremely happy about the appointment of the Odeyani Anegbira of Lokoja, adding that they would cooperate with the royal father in the management of the affairs of the Egbiras in Lokoja.

Our correspondent recalls that the state government announced Daudu Abdulkarim obeito as the new Odeyani Anegbira of Lokoja following the demise of the former occupant of the stool, HRH, Abdullahi Otonoku.
