The Lokoja branch of the Okengwe Development Association (ODA) has announced plans for a significant meeting to address pressing community issues and chart a course for development.
The President of the branch of the association, Dr. Haroun Opotu Yussuff,in a statement he signed in Lokoja and a copy available to The Reporters on Tuesday, the meeting, the first of its kind in 2025, would hold on Thursday, February 6, 2024 at Comrade Bala Youth House, Lokoja, 3.00 pm (prompt).
Yussuff reminded members that
“This meeting is vital for setting the tone for our developmental plans this year. We urge all members to participate actively and contribute meaningfully.”
He continued:”We thank our Good Lord for sparing our lives to witness the epoch-making stride at the AGM session on Monday, December 30, 2024 in Okengwe-Ehi Town hall, where we clinched the position of President General of ODA.
“CONGRATULATIONS to all of us in general and PG Emmanuel Sani Asika, in particular.
“Now that we have had enough rest for one month, it is high time we convened a meeting to appraise the new mandate given to us to prove our mettle premised on “The Way Forward”.
