The Federal Government has been called upon to prioritize policies that will stimulate economic growth and improve the standard of living for Nigerians.

The Spiritual Father and Chairman of the Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church Worldwide, Prophet Emmanuel Abiodun Alogbo, made the appeal during the “Beginning the Year with Praise” program at the Church’s Ilorin District Headquarters on Sunday.

Addressing journalists at the event, Prophet Alogbo stressed the need for urgent reforms, particularly in addressing Nigeria’s infrastructural deficits, such as in the power sector, to foster economic development.

“The government must prioritize people-oriented policies to alleviate hunger and improve the lives of citizens,” he emphasized.

While commending some of the government’s initiatives, Prophet Alogbo urged Nigerians to support leaders at all levels, assuring that the Church would continue to pray for the nation’s progress and stability.

In a sermon titled “Praising the Ancient of Days,” Pastor Ademola Popoola, advocated for justice, fairness, and honesty, adding that are essential principles for building a prosperous nation.

He also called on the Federal Government to eliminate ineffective policies, ensure timely payment of workers’ salaries, and focus on equitable resource distribution.

Pastor Popoola encouraged Nigerians to adopt a culture of praise and gratitude to God as a means of fostering unity and hope.
