Ex. Gov. Bello will chat way forward in 2027 politics in Nigeria – Sen. Ohere

Sen. Abubakar Sadiq Ohere, has described the relevance of former Gov Yahaya Bello in the nation’s politics as one that cannot be undermined.

Sen. Ohere stated this in Okene at the triumphant home coming of the former Governor, said beginning from the State Capital, all through to the Central Senatorial District, the people came out in their thousands to receive Alhaji Yahaya Bello.

According to Sen. Ohere, ” Your Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Bello is a light that cannot be hidden”.

” This home coming has proven that he is the rallying point for tomorrow’s politics in the North”.

” You can see how excited the people are. What you see is a true reflection of a leader who is engraved in the hearts of the people”.

” This organic, natural and infectious affection of display by people who came from all the states in the North Central and some Northern parts of Nigeria, signifies that former Governor Yahaya Bello is the man who matters in the present political equation of Nigeria”.

” Without exaggerating the obvious, former Gov Yahaya Bello will no doubt shape the politics of Nigeria moving forward, reason why this followership he is enjoying should not be taken for granted”.

Sen. Ohere described former Gov. Bello as the builder of modern Kogi State, loved by the people of Kogi State, attributed the infectious followership he is enjoying to the solid foundation he has laid in the State”.

While he called on the All Progressives Congress in the country to guard him jealously, said without sounding immodest, former Gov Bello will chat the way forward for the 2027 politics in the Country.

He expressed his appreciation to the people for their unalloyed support shown in welcoming the former Governor to the State, said it was the fear of his rising political profile, feared by some people that culminated into his travails, assured that it has only made him more popular.

Sen. Ohere praised Gov. Usman Ahmed Ododo for building on the legacies of the former Governor, pointing out that the Governor has proven that he is a worthy successor.
